Parkside Elementary School originally opened its doors for school in 1958.
- As a result of the passage of Measure L in 2010, Parkside Elementary School is now in the planning stages for the reconstruction of a new school structure, to replace the aging facility.
- The enrollment at the school for the 2016-17 school year is 653 students.
- Currently, there is 74,175 square feet of floor space on campus.
- There are two solar sub-arrays at the site, with an annual production of over 245,500 kW of energy for the school.
