On behalf of Pittsburg Unified School District, we would like to thank Pittsburg voters for passing Measure P on November 6, 2018. We are very grateful to the Pittsburg Community for all of your support! By supporting Measure P, you have reiterated once again to our scholars that they matter and are a priority in Pittsburg. This $100 million school bond will be used to help the District prepare our facilities for student enrollment growth, repair and modernize classrooms, maintain the safety of our schools, and upgrade our athletic facilities. Measure P funds will be used to address our most critical renovations and modernization needs. PUSD will maintain our strict accountability requirements. We have a Bond Oversight Committee in place to monitor the spending of all Measure P funds and an annual audit will be posted publicly on our website.

 

Thank you also to our Board of Education for your deliberations on Measure P and for bringing this School Bond to the November ballot. We would also like to thank all of the students and staff members that volunteered on their days off and after school to get the vote out and helped raise community awareness about Measure P.
