The Healthy Kids Survey is one very important way of gathering information anonymously from students, parents and staff about school climate at each site, drugs and alcohol, gangs, safety and other related issues. The survey is administered throughout California and is a valid and reliable survey instrument.  

 

The survey also helps us measure accountability for our LCAP/LCFF funding and initiatives, and helps us determine whether and when our PUSD investments are positively impacting students and families. So it is important for us to hear as many student and parent voices as possible!  And this survey helps us do that.

 

Between Late November 2023 and Feb 2024 schools will be administering the Healthy Kids Survey to students in Grades 5, 7, 9, 11 and all Continuation High School students as well as administering versions of the survey to all parents and staff.
