Early Childhood Education

Preschool classes are offered at each of the elementary school sites throughout the district. This program is designed to provide academic and social development opportunities for children. Our highly qualified teachers and staff utilize the State Preschool Standards for academic instruction and the State Preschool Foundations for social and emotional development.
The preschool program serves three and four-year-old children. Priority is given to four-year-old students as they prepare to enter kindergarten. Three-year-old children are able to attend as space is available. This program is for income-qualified families, so that we are able to serve those children with the greatest need.
We are proud of the highly engaging, positive and enthusiastic environment that is provided for our children. Our kids thrive in this developmentally appropriate program that allows them to learn, play, think and create on a daily basis.
We look forward to serving your family!
