To ensure accuracy and consistency across the District, all personnel actions must be initiated by submitting a Position Control Request through Informed K12 (formerly Chalk).
Personnel actions include:

Vacancy to be filled (Request to Post)

New Position (Request to Create & Post New Position)

Lateral Transfer (Site/Location Change)

Promotion/Change in Classification
-
Change in Work Schedule/FTE
-
Change in Salary (Salary Schedule Placement Change, Add/Remove Stipends, etc.)

Funding Change Request
When submitting a Position Control Request, please ensure that all requested information and required documentation are included. Incomplete forms will be returned to the submitter for completion, which may result in delays.
This process allows Human Resources and Business Services to maintain accurate position control records, ensure proper funding allocations, and expedite the processing of personnel actions.
