1.    Scholar Achievement
•    Scholars will demonstrate continuous improvement in academic excellence and be prepared for life after graduation, as measured by clear and accessible multiple assessments*
•    Opportunity gaps in grades and test scores will have accelerated reduction for our most vulnerable population through purposeful interventions and supports, including Ethnic Studies
•    Our belief is every scholar is entitled to a high school diploma and our goal and commitment is to achieve a 100% graduation rate with a commitment to closing gaps in competencies by graduation.
•    Every scholar deserves a quality and equitable education. Our scholars will demonstrate improvements in literacy, and gain knowledge in financial literacy.
•    Through coursework, workshops, and assessments, scholars will be exposed to and obtain education in the Arts and Career Technical Education.
•    We are committed to the use of Restorative Justice Practices to insure scholars remain in class learning
 
2.    Powerful Instruction
•    Effective instruction aligned to the common core will be expected, supported, and measured through regular walkthroughs and feedback using the Equity Walkthrough tool to ensure continuous improvement of scholar achievement
•    Empowering scholars through diverse, current, comprehensive materials and learning environments so scholars feel welcomed, accepted, and included.
•    All students are general education students and are provided an individualized continuum of services and supports with high expectations to meet their fullest potential.
 
3.    Outstanding Staff
•    The District will recruit diverse, Highly Qualified, and appropriately credentialed teachers and staff, with a commitment for teachers and staff to be representative of our community
•    The District will support, retain, and promote quality staff through good working conditions, competitive total compensation packages, and coaching and professional           development
